Mark it down — October 29th, 2024 was the first time I turned the heat on in my car. This is always a milestone for the year, since it usually means fall has officially arrived. It will continue to sputter in haphazardly for awhile, but hopefully temperatures aren’t going to get above 80 degrees too … Read More
And so ends another season of baseball. 162 games scheduled and 162 games played. Collectively, 2,430 games were played this season. I mentioned in a previous post that baseball was the game of my youth. I collected cards, memorized stats, went to games, and even played some myself. But in 1994, I fell out of … Read More

I was going to write a detailed, in-depth review of Rings of Power season 2, but apparently I was more inspired to make videos. Let’s just say I really enjoyed it and that the second season was a vast improvement on the first. The breakout characters this season were Sauron and Celebrimbor, and the series … Read More
The second season of Rings of Power concluded this week and featured the most hardcore cold open of any show I’ve ever seen. As soon as I saw it, My Hero by Foo Fighters popped into my head as an ideal accompaniment to the imagery, but check out the original score as well. It’s fantastic.
